The Trustee might want to go out to MCO also where there are more aircraft & aircraft records. Then also Iron Mountain for more records!

Seems like Captain Sum Ting Wong of Asiana Airlines paid a guest visit to headquarters at Avantair...but where is the outrage? AAIR, an exchange-listed public company with SEC oversight gets pulled under by an involuntary bankruptcy petition, after days of inaction?
Merely minimal adult supervision by management or the board could have resulted in an orderly dissolution of assets. But to read the report above about an abandoned head office with airplane hulks scattered around - this is sad. It would seem to be an extraordinary abdication of responsibility by several people.

'Merely minimal adult supervision' could have resulted in my and 450 other peoples career realization and avoided this in the first place.
BTW, I wonder who SS is going to blame for the hangar being left unlocked?

And we shouldn't have expected anything different from them . The only thing they have done right was surreptitiously line their own pockets, screwing hundreds of clients and employees.
Apparently they think they can just skip away whisiling "zipidy do dah" out of their "A" holes.

So much for owners private information that was on file with Avantair. Sounds like the office was wide open, so things like credit cards, personal information, etc have all been up for grabs.
I truly wonder what will happen when someone with an official status gets a chance to interview Santo. What could he possibly say that will make any sense after simply "running away" from the company?

This Avantair case study should shed light on the absolute failure of numerous oversight agencies. In my opinion, it's been absolutely shameless to watch the inept response of the Federal agancies involved. I would go as far as to make them directly culpable for the dissolving picture, playing before our eyes. -Completely Disgusted

They took all the parts and records etc. Nothing of any value is left, dallas was up until the end though.

Attention Owners: There is a letter circulating via email from someone posing to be a former Avantair Manager, but I have been with the company more than seven years and don't know this person. Please beware and if you aren't sure just ask me.

Just wanted to ease some fears about accessing owner information - Immediately following the furlough employee access was stopped. Access to owner information was limited before the furlough and would have really required a lot of effort to get to it after. I hope no one has experienced any issues with that type of activity?
