www.avantair.com/avantair-directors.htmlI saw these people walking through the hangar earlier this year, led by a nervous Mr. Santo and Mr. McKamey, walking right past these parts-stripped carcasses... How did they not know what was going on when the carcasses were in the same condition and position as in their last Board visit. The rumor was that flights with Board members had a back-up airplane, even if an Owner was inconvenienced.

That is correct. Any travel for Board members or Executives took high priority over any owners. If a Board Member was travelling a recovery was always in mind. Don't know if the Board Members knew the great lengths that were gone to for their travel, but it was always higher priority than anyone else.

Clint Allen went so far as to demand only flights on Avanti II's. that alone put an enormous strain on an already buckling system. On top of that there had to be TWO Avanti II's slated to cover the flight and it got pretty absurd. My favourite was when my day had me with 30 minute turns all day long and I got the word that I was supposed to drop everything and go find 'sodium free V8'. On no, don't cater it. Just launch the crew to get it. The owners he's flying are already 300 minutes late, they won't mind 330.
Obviously the real problem was all the exec travel while we were chartering. When we stopped the charter you'd think the exec travel would stop too. ...not so much.

I once read an article written by Clint Allen in an online publication, promoting Avantair and its services. I commented on his article with the truth 'behind the scenes' and others followed. Within a day my comment was removed and the comments were disabled. He was definitely aware of the problems at Avantair and protected them from any bad press.

Part detective, scientist, engineer, and law enforcer, the fire investigator represents the collusion of multiple careers rolled into one. It is the fire investigator who must explore, determine, and document the origin and cause of the fire, establish what human actions were responsible for it, then bring authoritative testimony to the courtroom to win a conviction in cases of arson. tenant screening
