My Opinion; JetSet arranges charters. NOTE: "Arranges" which is a very general word and term. Anyone can sit in an office or basement in their underwear and say they are a "charter broker" and make calls. My advice is to work directly with an air charter taxi operator directly unless you want to pay a broker cut for doing nothing. Doing a simple Google search and you'll find plenty of operators, ask them to send a copy of their insurance, air carrier certificate #, and ARGUS report, etc. Ask for non-photo shop versions of aircraft pictures and never ever book a trip unless you have the tail # and have looked up the plane. Most of the time you can find recent aircraft pictures online once you have the tail #. Do your due diligence before working with a charter broker as the charter brokers are not regulated by any state or federal entity.

My Opinion; JetSet arranges charters. NOTE: "Arranges" which is a very general word and term. In my opinion the charter brokers remind me of penny stock brokers. Boiler plate operations that obtain list's of people "with money" from somewhere. My advice is to work directly with an air charter taxi operator directly unless you want to pay a broker cut for doing nothing as the commentator said above. Charter brokers have no skin in the game. If you notice many of them sell "Jet Cards" this is another grey area. I am surprised they are able to get away with this. Is someone that dumb to give a charter broker their hard earned money for phony plastic jet card that is technically worthless. Reminds me of a pay as you go phone. Anyone who has the money to charter should have enough common sense to not fall for that one. When you call most of these charter broker's after hours you do not get a "professional" call center, you will often catch then taking a shower, out on a dinner date in brooklyn, or at a movie. Call's simply goes to their cell phone with dishes clanging in the background and dogs barking WTF? (how un professional) With the amount of money for these charter trips I am surprised there is no licencing yet. Some of the charter trips cost as much as a home and real estate agents obtain their licence and are regulated and have a governing body in each state. Most important have a code of ethics. Charter brokers have none of this. People wake up. Do your due diligence before working with a charter broker. Find an official air taxi operator. There are several in each state. That way if there is a problem, you know where their office is vs finding the broker at his home basement still in his undies at 10am.
