Believe it or not, there have been a few people watching this situation unfold and preparing for it. We might be able to retrieve some of your aircraft. If you are interested in more details, send me a private message with your tail number and I will send you a link.
Note that the terms of your contract will dictate what can and cannot be done at this early stage.

We own a share in 145sl How do we get all owners of that plane together to discuss What we do with the plane for the future? Or what options as owners do we have to get a handle on where the plane is and how we see if its "sell a able" or even flight worthy? Be interesting to see if enough planes and owners teamed up and organized away to have planes place with a new management team and start flying again? Seams like if Avantair goes bankrupt that that wouldn't affect our ownership of the planes, unless they own parts of any of these aircraft. Then we could look at what it would take to get the planes we all fractionally own airworthy again and maybe share some cost among the owners of the aircraft? Maybe a core group of the avantair staff and pilots Could then being "debt free" start up a small management company again with a few of our planes?? Is this crazy thinking Just not looking to sort out our current liability of ownership of an "unmanaged" plane at the moment? All comments and or advise welcome !

MANY of those planes have been grounded since the first shut down and deemed not flight worthy. Best to find out the status of that plane before making plans to fly it from point A to B.

WVOWNER....what you posted is exactly what we have been working on. We saw this coming many months ago. We first want to help you get your aircraft, then see if we can figure out how you can operate it. We are waiting to see what Avantair files in court.

To p180 pilot We are the largest shareholders in 108SL which we believe is in flying shape, having flown into DAL in late on June 5. As there are apparently a number of Piaggios at DAL, please forward the link as we're looking at how to secure the airplane.

Just an idea, but if you want to know where your airplane is the best resource is pilots of other fracs. Post a thread over at FLIFO (Flightinfo.com) and ask for pilots to spot Avantair planes and post details of their location. I'm sure everyone would be happy to help.

We know where several aircraft are. We also have a fairly complete owners list. We should be able to give some details on Friday. Bear with us. This is a very dynamic situation.

I'm looking for N167SL - last flight that I can see was into Dallas Love Field (KDAL) on June 7th. Can anyone verify that it is in fact there? Does anyone have an interest in this plane or have the owners list for this plane? Any and all help appreciated.

I am one of the fractional owners of N160SL. The plane is at McClellan Airfield outside of Sacramento, California. It is probably in reasonable shape, except for being grounded since 6/7/13, since it was flying continuosly prior to the grounding. It would be good to put together a list of owners and contacts for this plane. All I can find out on the registration is a bunch of names of trusts and business entities. Please contact me at mikeaymar@aol.com, and we can at least get started with two of us owners. 2 down 14 to go. Thanks Mike Any information of status and location of 160SL? Thanks in advance for the help.

If you go to Flight Aware and enter your tail number VNR108 rather than N108SL you can see where the plane's last flight went. In the case of N108SL it was to Love Field, Dallas. I called Signature ar Love Field and they confirmed the plane was on the ground there.

Our group is a long-time participant with Avantair as the largest shareholder of aircraft 108SL. This aircraft appears to be fully operational, and we have verified it is currently safely housed in a hangar at Dallas Love field with an FBO.
While we have the FAA-supplied names of the other owners of 108SL, we do not have contact information for them. As we assess our options, it would be helpful to all the owners of 108SL if we could establish mutual contact. We are in contact with our aviation attorneys (McAfee & Taft) who are currently assisting us in the evaluation of our options.
If you are an owner of 108SL, please email us with your contact information at "seasunkoa@mac.com". Thank you for your help. Senior Birdmen, LLC
